Mud Kitchen learning

We have been exploring textures and capacity in our mud kitchen. The children are using new vocabulary to describe what they see: "it's squishy", "it's like gloop", "mines like slime". They use different natural materials and items they find to make "soups" and "potions". We talk about full, empty, heavy and light and describe the colours.
