OPEN DAY: You are warmly invited to visit our school on Wednesday 8th January 2025 from 4 - 5 pm. You do not need to book in . Your child is also welcome to attend. The application process for September 2025 will open from Friday 10th January until Friday 24th January.

At Barbour Nursery School we are very proud to participate in the Eco-Schools Programme and have achieved “Green Flag” status.  Eco-Schools is a worldwide initiative and award scheme which actively promotes environmental awareness in schools.

The type of projects that we work on are:

  • Keeping our school and surroundings litter free
  • Keeping our waste to a minimum
  • Saving energy
  • Saving water
  • Improving our school grounds
  • Bio-diversity – encouraging a variety of wildlife to live in our school grounds.
